Archiving and Preservation Policy

Pakistan Journal of Zoological Sciences (PJZS | ISSN: 3105-5222) is committed to the long-term preservation of all published content to ensure it remains accessible to researchers and readers forever.

Preservation Services

PJZS participates in the following digital preservation networks:

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
Our content is archived in the LOCKSS network, which distributes copies across multiple participating libraries worldwide. This ensures that published articles remain available even if the journal's website becomes inaccessible.

CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
PJZS is also preserved in the CLOCKSS archive. CLOCKSS is a trusted dark archive that ensures content will be triggered for public access if the journal ceases publication.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
As an OJS journal, PJZS is automatically preserved through the PKP Preservation Network. This free service uses LOCKSS technology to securely archive journal content.'

Why Preservation Matters
