Pakistan Journal of Zoological Sciences (PJZS) is committed to protecting the rights of authors while promoting open access to scholarly research.

Author Copyright

Authors who publish with PJZS retain full copyright over their work. This means that authors hold all rights to their own articles and may use them in any way they wish without seeking permission from the publisher.

What Authors Can Do

Authors are free to:

  • Share their articles with colleagues and students

  • Post their articles on personal or institutional websites

  • Deposit their articles in any repository

  • Include their articles in books or other publications

  • Use their articles for teaching and presentations

  • Adapt and build upon their own work for future research

The only condition is that the original publication in PJZS (ISSN: 3105-5222)  must be properly acknowledged.

All articles published in PJZS (ISSN: 3105-5222) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author and source.

No Transfer of Rights

PJZS (ISSN: 3105-5222) does not require authors to sign over their copyright to the publisher. There is no copyright transfer agreement. Authors simply grant PJZS the right to publish their work as the original source.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original, does not infringe on any existing copyright, and has been properly reviewed and approved by all co-authors before submission.
