Dr. Sajid Abdullah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Wildlife and Fisheries at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. With a PhD in Zoology (2007), he specializes in aquatic toxicology and freshwater fisheries, focusing on metal toxicity, bioaccumulation, and sustainable aquaculture practices. His research  contributing significantly to fish toxicology literature in Pakistan.
Dr. Abdullah has authored over 90 peer-reviewed research articles, 15 book chapters, and more than 70 conference proceedings. He has completed multiple national research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-PI, and has mentored 12 PhD, 230 MPhil, and 152 MSc scholars to completion.
Currently based at the Fisheries Research Farms, his research integrates applied toxicology with aquaculture development, aligning with national goals for sustainable fisheries and food security.
